Black Flash Will Make His Presence Known Across MULTIPLE DCTV Shows

The Flash’s Season 2 finale saw the demise of Zoom and – strangely enough – the birth of the CW’s incarnation of the Black Flash…death of Speed Force users. While fans of the CW hit show have known for some time that Flash alum Teddy Sears (Jay Garrick/Hunter Zolomon/Zoom) would potentially be showing up in The Flash’s future, a new report from The Wrap confirms the character will not only be returning to The Flash but will seemingly make his presence known on Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. Showrunner Andrew Kreisberg had the following to say of the character’s return, “I will say that you might be seeing him on multiple shows,” – a bold and interesting choice given the fact that the Black Flash is tied to, essentially, Speedsters and Speedsters alone (The Wrap).

“[Black Flash] is a classic character. We have storylines on multiple shows that fit having him around,” Kreisberg said about introducing the Black Flash. “There’s something so scary about him, something even scarier than when he was just the man, because now he is the Grim Reaper; he is the devil. How do you stop the devil? So it presents an interesting challenge for the heroes of the respective shows in which he appears.” – The Wrap

Interestingly Kreisberg went on to note that actor Teddy Sears, who had previously expressed interest in returning, is quite busy with 24: Legacy and may be too busy to return…

What do you think? Should Black Flash be restricted to The Flash?
